Samsung just released the Galaxy Note Pro 12.2 last Thursday (Feb 13th, 2014) and if you don’t know how to take a screenshot on it you have found the right place to show you how!
The process of taking a Galaxy Note Pro 12.2 screenshot is the same as you would on previous Galaxy Note Pro models. If you already know how to take a screenshot with one of the previous models like I just mentioned you can stop reading right here if you wish, if not read on!
Taking a Samsung Galaxy Note Pro 12.2 screenshot!
I assume you have found something you want to take a screenshot of by now, if not you can still take one so you have some practice under your belt! Let’s get started by following the steps below.
- You will first need to locate both the home and power button before you can do anything.
- The home button is located on the bottom middle of your tablet and the power button can be found on the top left corner.
- Now simply press and hold the home and power button at the exact same time.
- Within a second or so you will hear either a camera shutter sound, see a camera flash, or notification running across the top of your screen informing you a screenshot has been captured.

Locating your new screenshot!
Now lets find out exactly where your screenshot has been stored by following the steps below.
- Navigate back to your home screen by pressing your home button.
- Now locate your Gallery application and open it up. The most recent photo should be the screenshot you have just taken.
Still can’t take a screenshot on your Note Pro 12.2?
Unfortunately software doesn’t always work as intended. Some of the more common issues when taking a screenshot on the Galaxy Note Pro 12.2 can be found below.
- You can try rebooting the device if you have recently performed some software updates, this has been known to fix the issue.
- Ensure you are pressing both the home and power button at the same time (Not a fix, just a reminder that timing is everything when capturing a screenshot).
